On January 22, 2017 the Maputo Baseball Association will organize its annual baseball event "A Copa da Memoria" to be held at O Parque dos Continuadores in Maputo, Mozambique. The day's activities will include a game played between the baseball clubs Polana Canico and Maxaquene.

The South West Gauteng Baseball Association will be hosting the 2012 Junior and Senior Inter-regional baseball tournaments. The Junior games will be held March 31 to April 5. The Senior games will be held from April 27 to May 1. Both will be held at the Marks Park Sports Club in Emmarentia, Johannesburg, R.S.A.
